TECHNOLOGY IN ELT

Hi everybody I have a bad news for you. Because of the end of this semester,this is my last post. In our educational technologies lesson  We've learned how to use technology in ELT clasrooms.And for this purpose,we have learned to use a lot of programs like padlet,blogspot,pixton,wiki,canva and so on. In some assignment we studied as a group. And this enabled us to look from our friends perspective and improved our thoughts. This lesson is really helpful for me because thanks to this programs, i know how to enrich my lesson when i become a teacher. We live in 21'st century and this century requires some changes. We can create this change. And, It can be accomplished by technology. Technology has crucial importance  especially in english language teaching classes . Hi everybody Today I'm going to talk about infographic.Infographics  are graphic visual representations of information, data , or knowledge  intended to present information quickly and clearly.   They can improve cognition by utilizing graphics to enhance the human visual system's ability to see patterns and trends. For our educational technologies lesson our task is creating an infographic about web 2.0 tools. I have choosen Pixton   ,  Youtube and Blogger . Hi everyone. Today's topic is making movie poster based on the book we read . In our educational technologies lesson we have learned  how to make a poster. And thanks to this lessson,  I have made a  poster. This poster is about one of my favourite books. It is 'My sweet orange tree'. The book is about a grief of a child. I've tried to reflect the film of this book with the help of my poster.   I've put two quotations from the book which is impressive .  I hope my poster encourage you to watch the film of this book. Hi everyone. Today I'll talk about digital storytelling.Digital storytelling is multimedia movies that combine photographs,video,animation,sound,music.text,and often a narrative voice.Digital stories may be used as an expressive medium within the classroom. Students can work individually or collaboratively to produce their own digital stories.Once completed,these stories are easily be uploaded to the internet and can be made available to an international audience. It is a new and effective way to learn second language. It can improve children's creativity. And also it is really fun. My friends  Zeynep  , Gizem  and I have created a story named 'Day Dream'  This story is about 3 adventurous friends. While creating the video we had a lot of fun.  I hope you have fun while watching.

Hello everyone. Today's topic is making Internet-based project. For this project, we have used Padlet.But first let's talk about what padlet is. Padlet is an application to create an online bulletin board that you can use to display information for any topic. You can add images,links,videos,and more. Padlet is a very useful application for language classes.It makes lessons more interesting. My friends  Ayşe  , Gizem  and I have made a padlet wall. We have created a KWL chart on our padlet wall.Our subject is 'Gender Inequality In Language'. I think we have explained this issue thoroughly.
